Default Boat Storage Trends

If you are a boat storage facility owner, have you seen an increase in boat storage tenants since gas prices are climbing or are your boat owners selling the boats and leaving their boat storage spaces?

Default storage manager

Our boat parking spaces are always full! We have seen a few sellers leave, but new owners are always ready to take their place.

We are about 20 minutes from a big lake though, so we have a larger market of boaters.

I don't think that high gas prices keep these dedicated boaters off the water!

Default Boat Owners

I think we have seen more turnover of boat storage tenants in recent months. Usually a boat storage tenant holds onto his parking space, even if he is in between boat ownership.

Luckily for us, new owners have been ready to jump on any emtpy spaces.

I've also seen the same with RV storage tenants.

Default Adding Boat Storage Spaces

I am adding parking spaces for boat storage, RVstorage, motorcycle storage, ATV storage, You name it - if you need outdoor storage, we will rent it to you.

I think it will be a growing part of the business.

Default good to hear

Good to hear your parking storage is growing and that you will be adding some RV storage and such to the mix.

Default RV Storage

Parking spaces and RV storage have been very successful for us. I would recommend that any storage operator have a few spaces of parking for rent.

Default my opinion

I have some car storage parking for rent and the same klunkers have been there for 4 years.

Fine with me - as long as they pay rent. If I had room to add more RV storage or Boat storage, I would.
