Default Car Title Verification

Does anyone have any tips on how I can tell a fake driver's license from a real one when I ask for verification of car titles/ DL's for car storage, or even self storage for that matter?

There has been some ID fraud around here recently.

Default fraud detection

I know there are books with pictures of drivers licenses from each state that point out characteristics on each that prevent fraud. You should look into having one in the storage office.

Thumbs up Thanks

Thanks Sarah, I asked the owner for one of those books to keep for office storage and he agreed that it would be helpful in preventing fraud. He's getting one for all the storage facilities.

Default It's Sad

It is pretty sad these days that we have to be on our toes looking for those who want to do fraudualant things in our self storage environment. I honestly never thought about that for more than a couple of seconds. I will ensure that I make it a topic of discussion and see what my reps think about that in the call center. Maybe a couple of more ideas on catching people with fake ideas might come from it.

Default protecting self storage

We should all be putting our heads together to think of how to protect our self storage industry.

Maybe we should start a study group who could look into this for us?
