Question Furniture Storage Protection

We have had the same mattress covers and furniture covers in the store office for 3 months.

Do you have any tips on selling this stuff to customers or storage news on how you do it?

Default Hotel Tricks

Once the storage customer signs their lease, I take them to the unit and there are a few supplies in it.

I include a mattress cover, a marker and tape.

I tell them I can just add that to their bill or take them back. They usually keep something.

Then, when we walk back to the office, I ring it all out.

(kind of like the hotels who leave you expensive bottles of water in the room)

Default Mover's Special

What a great idea. I like it - we could put together a package with a lock, some bubble wrap, marker and tape and sell that as a "Mover's Special".

I really like the idea of having it in the empty storage unit, ready for the new tenant!
