I only have a few items to my name – clothes, futon, dorm frig, a few posters from the outgoing movies at the theatre, old TV, etc. Although these items are all hand-me-downs from relatives or my parents, they keep my living space comfy and familiar.

When it was time for me to take an internship across the country, I didn’t want to lose the few the items I have carried with me all through my college years. Although it was not a lot of furniture, my parents did not want to see it come back to their home.

Being my parents, they went found me a solution and rented me self storage lockers to keep the few items I could not take with me. It is a perfect solution, and even I can afford the self storage lockers on my intern pay.
