In my town, there are several self storage unit locations so when it was time to rent a space, I asked myself which one was most convenient. The answer surprised me. I chose the self storage unit locations closer to my office than my home.

Because I could easily stop in the storage unit over my lunch break to get out the winter clothes or Christmas decorations, I chose the property nearest my office. The price was a little higher for the downtown location, but it is well worth the time it saves me.

I am already so rushed for time when I get off work – pick up the kids, make dinner, give them baths, read a book – read 2 books, put them to bed. The last thing I want to do is make a stop at storage after work. Doing it during the day is a stress reliever.
